I’m not sure anyone actually thinks they were going to embrace or anything. Fandom is kind Of about self-indulgence and wish fulfillment. So people may want the striders to hug it out but don’t think they actually will. So they draw it.

YOU’RE RIGHT I guess I’m mostly confused about why I can’t sympathize. I love these kids but I have no desire to do it as well.

I just want them to fight. :B
